Windstruck Ernie, and Clean Cars

This is a quick photo of Ernie in a baby swing. He's inside my local carwash, and we have breakfast every Friday. Before returning to Indiana, I'd handwash my vehicles every Friday after work. But
here there's a Carwash Company that is remarkable, and much easier. This isn't a plug for them.
I love a clean car. It feels new, it feels like I'm doing 'good.' Clean cars make me excited for the weekend. I guess I'm a little like 'Monk', obsessive, but when my ol' bucket' is dirty, I start
to think 'new.' And we've all felt the buyer's remorse of that.
So for now, here's to sipping my coffee with Ernie.

  2. I had my truck for three years. I washed it twice. I don't like to be 1) outside or 2) hot.

  3. I'm still looking for a good car wash near where I live... most of the time, as you well know, our car is just shamefully filthy, and it does indeed make me feel like I'm doing "bad."

  4. For Colin...my mom's husband likes the car wash on Center St. in front of the old Owens at a gas station there. Goodness, that doesn't help at all, does it? It's a little brown gas station that sits kinda crooked there. I believe it is next to AutoZone. Something about them doing a good job or doing it the "right way". Hmmm...maybe I should call him to get correct info before I confuse more people than just myself :)
