others find pleasure in breaking out warm sweaters, but I have this to
admit as cheering up my season:
Specialty Coffee Creamers.
So my eyes lit up this morning, walking into the grocery store. There,
displayed so brightly, was a tall display of "Peppermint Mocha,"
"Pumpkin Spice," and "Gingerbread."
Ah, the little blessings.
hehe...I did the same thing last weekend when I went grocery shopping and saw White Peppermint Mocha creamer. I So love the holiday creamers. :) It's probably one of the few things I enjoy about the holidays coming.
ReplyDeleteThank you for opening up comments. I want you to know that I read every post you write and feel blessed to be walking this journey from a distance with you.
ReplyDeleteWe were seriously just talking about this on the way to class this morning. I have the peppermint mocha one. YUM! The girls like the gingerbread but I have yet to try that. I don't go through coffee quickly enough and Matt doesn't drink it - even if it is decaf.
ReplyDeleteI love the pumpkin spice! If you get a hot cup of coffe with some pumpkin spice in it, and then eat a big bowl of creamy pumpkin ice cream with it...life doesn't get much better!!
ReplyDeleteI love Pumpkin Spice too!
ReplyDeleteIt is my favorite and soooooooo much cheaper than buying the Starbucks kind ...
bought a new one...caramel apple
ReplyDeleteEggnog ranks right up there for me, too.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a bellwether of a changing season... as reliable as the first robin of spring or the UPS delivery dudes' breaking out the brown shorts.
ReplyDeleteTom, I love this! I am the same way. I was so excited to walk into Publix to find the new flavors just singing my name. I bought all 3 and have been drinking WAY too much coffee. Matt and I have been thinking about you tons as we walk by our lil stork you made in our yard daily. We have been proudly displaying it for 2 months. I think it is time to give it back to the squadron but we don't want to. It reminds us of the "Old" squadron and all of our friends when we first joined 312. I love you blog and appreciate you sharing your heart with all of us. You are in our daily prayers.
ReplyDeleteyour blog is beautiful and sad at the same time. thanks for being such an honest writer.
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee, but I share you excitement with the flavors of fall. My joys are peppermint ice cream, pumpkin everything: cookie's (Ruth's especially), pumpkin, cheesecake, pumpkin rolls, pie and bread. Also, hot apple cider, hot chocolate and the smell and the warmth of a fire going in the fireplace on a cold day. Enjoy your coffee Tom!
ReplyDeleteOMG....I did the same thing !!!..but for me, I'm not a coffee drinker, so I've always put the flavored creamers in my tea.
ReplyDeleteI know...a little odd, but still delicious !
